Terrestrial Lidar Mapping Solutions

Premium Equipment

While aerial mapping provides the "big picture," Terrestrial LiDAR provides the fine details. By using ground-based laser scanners, we can create hyper-accurate, 3D digital replicas of buildings, infrastructure, and complex environments.

Leica RTC360

  • Unmatched Scanning Speed: It captures up to 2 million points per second. A complete full-dome scan at 6mm resolution, including high-quality HDR imagery, can be finished in under two minutes.
  • Visual Inertial System (VIS): This standout technology uses five built-in cameras to track the scanner's position in real-time as you move between setups. This allows for automatic, targetless pre-registration of scans in the field, drastically reducing office processing time.
  • Double Scan (Moving Object Removal): The scanner can perform two passes to identify and automatically remove moving objects (like people or vehicles) from the final point cloud, ensuring clean data without manual cleanup.
  • Superior High-Dynamic Range (HDR) Imaging: Its 36MP three-camera system captures five-bracket HDR imagery in just one minute. This provides exceptional colorization for point clouds and immersive 360° visualizations, even in challenging lighting.
  • High Precision & Low Noise: Delivers survey-grade data with a 3D point accuracy of 1.9 mm at 10 meters. Its "Double Pulse" technology records the best possible signal from both shiny and dark surfaces for cleaner results.
  • Extreme Portability: Weighing only 11.7 lbs (5.35 kg) without batteries, it is small enough to fit into a backpack and light enough for a single operator to manage all day.

Faro Focus S

  • Exceptional Range & Accuracy: The "S" stands for "Survey Grade." The Focus S350can scan objects up to 350 meters away with a distance accuracy of ±1mm. This makes it superior for large infrastructure like bridges, dams, or open-pit mines where you can't always get close to the subject.
  • On-Site Compensation: This is a major advantage. You can perform a self-calibration check directly in the field. If the scanner was bumped during transport, you can re-calibrate it on the spot to ensure your data is accurate before you leave the site.
  • Environmental Protection (IP54 Rating): The Focus S is built for the "real world." Its IP54 rating means it is protected against dust and water splashes. It can handle light rain and harsh construction environments that would sideline more delicate scanners.
  • Operating Temperature Range: It is designed to work in extreme conditions, from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F), making it the go-to choice for outdoor winter work or hot industrial furnace rooms.
  • Dual-Axis Compensator: FARO uses a highly sensitive leveler that ensures every scan is perfectly vertical. This is critical for high-rise construction and long-range surveying where even a tiny tilt can ruin a floor plan.
  • Internal Accessory Port: Features a "future-proof" expansion bay on top. You can plug in external sensors, GPS units, or specialized lighting accessories directly into the scanner’s power and data stream.
  • "Open" Software Ecosystem: Unlike some competitors that lock you into proprietary software, FARO data is easily exported into nearly every major CAD and BIM platform, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Recap.
